Professor Safa received his Ph. D. in MCDB in 1980 from Iowa State University.In 1987, he accepted a position as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Chicago and was Director of the Laboratories of Pharmacology and Pharmacokinetics, and Molecular Pharmacology, respectively in the Section of Hematology/Oncology from 1990-1996. In 1996, he accepted a tenured Associate Professor Position in the Department of Experimental Oncology, Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), and was promoted to tenured Professor in 1999. Dr. Safa was Director of the Drug Resistance Program at Hollings Cancer Center at MUSC from 1998-1999

His research interest includes multi-targeted therapy of pancreatic tumors, brain cancer, and breast cancer through modulation of the death receptor signaling pathway in cancer cells.

Mohammad Esmail Akbari is a Professor of Surgical Oncology at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences (SBUMS). He is the head of Cancer Research Center and comprehensive Cancer Control Center at SBUMS, a board member of EURAMA (Europa-Asian Breast Cancer Association), a member of Iranian and the American Association of Surgeons and the President of the Association of World with No Tobacco. He is the editor in chief of Iranian Cancer Prevention Journal. Furthermore he has been chancellor of Isfahan University of medical science and deputy for health in Ministry of Health and Medical Education (MOHME) for more than 12 years. He has published a considerable number of papers and books in the field of epidemiology of cancer and oncology

Dr. Igor F. Tsigelny is an expert in structural biology, molecular modeling, bioinformatics, structure-based drug design and personalized cancer medicine. He published >200 articles, 4 scientific books and around 15 patents. The book Protein Structure Prediction: Bioinformatic Approach that he edited has been called The Bible of all current prediction techniques by BioPlanet Bioinformatics Forums. His computational study of molecular mechanisms of Parkinson's disease was included in the US Department of Energy publication Decade of Discovery where the best computational studies of the decade 1999 - 2009 have been described. He is a Professor in the UC San Diego and CSO of CureMatch Inc. (San Diego).

Michael Retsky (PhD in Physics from University of Chicago) made a career change to cancer research thirty years ago. He was on Judah Folkman’s staff at Harvard Medical School for 12 years. Diagnosed with stage IIIc colon cancer in 1994, he opted for a low dose long term chemotherapy protocol that is now called metronomic chemotherapy. Retsky is Editor and Romano Demicheli is Co-Editor of a Springer/Nature book on breast cancer published in July 2017. Retsky is a founder of the Colon Cancer Alliance and has published more than 90 papers in physics and cancer.

Margaret has a strong interest in developing resources and professional development opportunities for all cancer nurses. Margaret has developed practice principles for caring for patients undergoing radiation therapy with the aim to standardise patient care and ensure positive patient experience and patient outcomes regardless of where treatment is received. These principles will now form part of the national standards in radiation oncology within Australia. Margaret is committed to advancing nursing practice through the ongoing development and education of health professionals within the specialty and beyond."

Bradford has a PhD in Medical Biochemistry-Oncology from the Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Division of SUNY at Buffalo School of Medical and Biomedical Sciences. She is the inventor of the various patents that AccuTheranostics holds. She was awarded the Award for Excellence in Research from the American Federation for Clinical Research, has authored many scientific papers and book chapters, and been an invited speaker at various international scientific meetings. Dr. Bradford is a member of many major professional cancer organizations including, ASCO, AACR and AAAS. As Chief Scientific Officer, Dr. Bradford guides the day-to-day research directives as well as the clinical laboratory operations.
